Forwarding

- Part of a complex of works on consignment. The most precise definition of these concepts is given in the Law of Ukraine on the freight forwarding activities

• forwarding operations - business activity to provide freight forwarding services on the organization and ensure transport of import, export, transit or other goods;

• freight forwarding services - work associated with the organization and provision of transportation of cargo (export, import, transit or other) under the contract of freight forwarding;

• freight forwarder – a business entity, which on behalf of clients at its expense perform or arrange to perform forwarding services stipulated in the contract of freight forwarding;

- Organization of storage, unloading, repacking and transhipment to other types of vehicles at the terminal port, or storage areas;
