It seems right now like Google’s Android operating system and Apple’s iOS platform will be the world’s most popular mobile operating systems forever. After all, every mobile OS that came before them, and everything else that has come along since these two platforms took off, has been crushed. Of course, those of us who have been around long enough remember that at one point in time, Nokia’s Symbian platform seemed like it would reign supreme forever. Platforms like Symbian, Windows Mobile, and BlackBerry OS used to dominate the global market, and now they don’t even exist anymore.

There’s no telling how long iOS and Android will be the only two mobile platforms that matter. There’s also no telling what might replace them. But Google is already planning for the future, and it’s in the process of developing a mysterious new operating system that may someday render Android obsolete.

Don't Miss :

Precious little is known about Google’s Fuchsia OS for the time being. The platform is basically hiding in plain sight. It’s an open source platform that’s being developed right out in the open, and we’ve even seen it 01nikeairmax1 greystone KgaC2rd
a few times. But Google has been almost completely silent about its new experimental operating system, refusing to reveal what its intentions are with Fuchsia.

As far as what we know at this point, there isn’t much to go on. We know that Fuchsia isn’t built on Linux kernel like Android and Chrome OS. Instead, it uses Google’s own Zircon kernel . What’s more, Fuchsia uses a newin-house programming language. Long story short, Fuchsia is all Google from top to bottom, despite being open source.

Beyond that, we know that Fuchsia won’t be confined solely to mobile devices. In fact, there’s already a developer build that can be installed on the Google Pixelbook. That said, it’s a very early experimental build that isn’t anywhere close to being feature complete. For that reason, no one who actually wants to use his or her Pixelbook for anything worthwhile is willing to bother with it. Luckily, you don’t need to mess with your Pixelbook anymore in order to play with Fuchsia. In fact, you don’t even need a Pixelbook. As noted on Reddit , there’s now a website that lets you play with Fuchsia on any computer or phone.

Click this link to check it out. On a computer, there’s almost no usable functionality, and all you can do is click around a bit. On an Android phone, you’ll have a bit more luck. In fact, you’ll even see your phone’s actual remaining charge and network status. After you’ve tapped “Guest” to fire up Fuchsia, you can tap and scroll around all you want, though there isn’t much to see. The round icon at the center of the screen opens up the settings, but we’ll let you explore the res on your own.

To illustrate, Ben-Oni’s “ Agunah ” begins with the lines

In absentia, he holds—you, tichel -crumpled, bare-legged and humbled, shown your hair in the shuq, shorn of husband.

which I suspect are intended to awaken me to the predicament of a women who “has been abandoned by her husband” and is caught in a legal purgatory. Instead, the lines pluck too hard upon the heart-strings. Even if I did more background research, I’d still see the poem’s stitching, not the subject the poem hoped to speak about. “Palms of Lebanon” opens with similar straining: “a lull in war / the last trunks mourn / new bullet thorns.” And when “The Current Political Situation of the Roma” finds its central polemic voice interrupted by an italicized workshop critic’s voice—“ Begins too vague ,” “ Not quite sure about your tone here ,” “ Personal narrative is unacceptable ”—I wonder why Ben-Oni doesn’t forego the workshop lyric with its supposedly petty strictures and adopt a slam, language, documentary, conceptual or whatever poetics for Solecism instead.

But I won’t wonder too long. Because too often the sound play is really good, as with lines like “When night was an octave lower, / and our eyes owl-wide” or “I’m a lychee peel in peril / Plates tipping off the table / By catnipped paw.” Too often the line breaks are really good:

giving way to a wonder as simple and young as us sliding in our socks below a carillon of waking birds and rain, as drawing the first weevil from the cracks.

Too often, Ben-Oni’s imagination delights, as when she renders “The Gangster as Narwhal”: “how well you play a drowned / corpse, my deep diver, far from swan-spined // or supple-sighted.” It is through her skill with the means as much through her aims that I am transported, that I am allowed “on the other side / of the sealed window,” that I am permitted to glimpse the donkey in the dust storm.

Now, let’s imagine that we want to track the mouse position in another component as well. Can we reuse any of the code from our <App> ?

In the createClass paradigm, the problem of code reuse was solved using a technique called “mixins”. Let’s create a MouseMixin that anyone can use to track the mouse position.

Problem solved, right?! Now anyone can simply “mix in” MouseMixin to their component class to get the x and y of the mouse in this.state !

Then last year, arrived and ultimately the React team decided to move away from using createClass to use them instead. It was a wise decision. Who wants to maintain their own class model when JavaScript already has one built-in?

But there was a problem: ES6 classes don’t support mixins . Also, besides the fact they aren’t part of the ES6 class spec, mixins have other shortcomings too, many of which discussed at length in a post on the React blog .

ES6 classes don’t support mixins

To summarize, problems with mixins are:

ES6 classes Indirection Naming collisions

So instead of using mixins, many in the React community eventually settled on an alternative technique for code reuse known as higher-order components , or HOCs. In this paradigm, code is shared using a similar technique to decorators ; you start with the component that defines the bulk of the markup to be rendered and then wrap it in more components that contain the behavior you’d like to share. Instead of mixing in the behavior you need, you can just decorate your component! 😎

decorators

It was a good solution that solved the problem of code reuse elegantly in the brave new world of ES6 classes, and the community adopted it in droves.

At this point I’d like to stop and ask: what did we gain by moving to higher-order components? Did we solve any of the problems we had with mixins?

Let’s see:

Another problem that both mixins and HOCs share is that they use static composition instead of dynamic composition . Ask yourself: where is the composition happening in the HOC paradigm? Static composition happens once, when the component class is created (e.g. AppWithMouse in the previous example).

Tolerance

To promote tolerance, the UAE appointed a Minister of State for Tolerance, launched the National Tolerance Programme, passed the Anti-discrimination/Anti-hatred law and set up centres to counter extremism.

Tolerance is a virtue and an intrinsic part of the Islamic culture. It is observed at all levels: individual, organisational and national. With more than 200 nationalities living peacefully and successfully in the UAE, the UAE society has been an undisputed example of being a tolerant and inclusive country. Now, the Federal Government is keen to promote acceptance and understanding as core values of the society.

As a practical application of the principle of tolerance, H. H. Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, ordered renaming the Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Mosque in Al Mushrif, Abu Dhabi, to ' nike roshe nm woven suede chair

The post of the Minister of State for Tolerance was first introduced in 2016 when H. H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister and Vice-President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai announced structural changes to the 12th Cabinet, reinforcing the UAE's commitment to eradicate ideological, cultural and religious bigotry in the society. Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi was the first the Minister of State for Tolerance.

In the Cabinet reshuffle of 2017, His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan was appointed as Cabinet member and the Minister of State for Tolerance in the UAE.

However, the UAE Government had been taking efforts towards building a tolerant nation before the structural changes of the Cabinet. Some of these measures are enumerated below.

In July 2015, H. H Sheikh Khalifa has issued air jordan 6 retro infrared 23 ebay uk v8uNZNmlh
on Combating Discrimination and Hatred, which aims to protect everyone in the UAE and thus bring the concept of social security to a new level.

The law is intended to provide a solid legislative ground for the environment of tolerance, co-existence and acceptance. It aims to fight discrimination against individuals or groups based on religion, caste, doctrine, race, colour or ethnic origin.
